My son and daughter in law has recently made the decision to move to Las Vegas NV. My son came in first Equipped with two children, and my daughter in law followed. When my daughter in law tried to leave the state of Maryland with her two other children her parents were opposed to poiint that spoke to the children leaving them there until they were set up in it. Daughter in laws parents are now threatening to file for custody of the girls say that my daughter abandoned their right. My daughter in law has phyiscal custody, but joint custody with the father of the children and any children abandond. I think I found an answer. Parents can threaten, but if they have no evidence that she "abandoned" children, then it is their word against her and your son. Any judge would be the mother. . Unless parents can find more witnesses to lie about it in court. This is probably just a threat from their idle and empty, so they do not lose their grandchildren.
